Hi Dave,

Any suggestions for getting my Bassman off the floor?  I've just been setting it on a folding chair but I'm looking for something more sturdy.

Thank you,

Taylor

Answer

You're back! I use a chair available at the venue or a milk crate... two if you have 'em. I use a crate to cary cables and such and then just flip it over to use for the amp. I, and others I have asked, have not had much luck with amp stands. Gary Primich used to put a Marine Band harp case (when they were hard plastic) under the front lip of his amp to get a little bit of upwards tilt.

Yep.  Been busy working on my master's degree in teaching.  Still playing harp but have been less active.  Two months left and then it's back in the shed!

Thanks for the info!  I ordered one and it was all wobbly so had to send it back.  Guess I'll stick to chairs for now.
