Hi Skip,

I was just browsing some great looking older amps and was wondering if you had any thoughts on their quality and price. I didn't get a chance to try them out yet (I had a harp on me, but the guitar shop didn't have any mics), but I will. Here's the info from the tags:

Fender Champion 600 1951 $1095

Danelectro DM10 1960s $299

Alamo Mild #3 1953 $595

Fender Blues Jr. Used $295

Fender 1968 Bassman + 2x12 Cab $699

Fender silver faced 1968 Princeton reverb $899

Fender Pro Jr. $419

What do you think? Do any particularly stand out for quality and value?

thanks very much!

Amp shopping

Hello PM42- Well, be sure to take a mic next time!!

51 Champ-  Cool amp. Sure to increase in value.

Danelectro DM-10-  Good price!

Alamo-  Another cool amp that will increase in value.

Blues Junior- Good price for what I consider to be kind of a modern classic, but it won't go up in value and is fragile compared to an old amp.

68 Bassman-  Too much amp for you.

68 Princeton- Maybe not the best tone for harp, but a good price on a real classic.

Pro Junior- Reasonable price, but fragile.
