Acoustic mic follow-up

Hi David,
Thank you .... i did not realize there was some info on mics on the website.
Can you recommend a hand held mic for accoustic?
The one Joe mentioned is $699.

Answer

For the $ the SM57 or SM58 will work just fine. Go for the SM58 if you think it will be used for vocals some times. If you plan on plugging this into your amp for practice (a good idea), make sure you purchase an inline transformer (changing the signal from your mic cable [XLR to XLR] which is Low-Z, to Hi-Z [XLR to 1/4"], which is what your amp will want to receive).
