Hi David,

Could you please clarify whether I am correct regarding the following : When on hole 5 of the harmonica, for the one chord I am using 6 blow (G) for the four chord I am using 5 blow (E) and for the five chord I am using 4 draw (D).

Thank you for your help,

Regards,

Paul

Answer

That's correct. Simply put, move up or down a hole when a note is not available for a chord on that particular hole. When you get into LOA-L5 you'll be able to use 7th Chords and the 5 draw F (flat-7th) will be a valid choice. Take your time on this... it's one of the most important skills you'll develop.
