Hello David...I have been working on my chorus forms.  I noticed that in some of our material, you use the ABC chorus form.  Examples would be in Gary's Blues and My Blues.  Up to LOA 5, you do not cover this chorus form.  Is this something I can look forward to in future levels?

Thanks, Homer.

Answer

Good morning Homer. Chorus Forms is based on repetition, so technically ABC is not a Chorus Form. This is a valid way to play, but it uses up your vocabulary very quickly and if used too much the listener can lose interest. It is a great way to play when reaching the climax of a song though.
