Hello Dave,

Here is a question that does not let me sleep at night :)

On the Tremolo and vibrato lesson song.

How do you exactly approach that 5 vibrato on the first chorus?

Do you use mostly your vocal cords or a "ya-ya" or "ay-ay" type vibrato with your tongue?

Thanks in advance!

It really sounds amazing, Dave!

I found it much accessible for me if I use the "ya-ya" on the 5.

Can you please write me if that's ok or I'd better aim for the throat type there as well?

Thanks!

That works, but keep trying

That works, but keep trying the throat vibrato… you’ll get it with time. The key is to tune your mouth to a high pitch. Focus your tonal cavity frontal, while still keeping your mouth and tongue relaxed. “Think” like you’re about to bend a 6, but don’t actually bend (it’s the mouth shape we’re looking for).
