Thinking of a 50w 2x10 harp amp, probably from Mission Amps.
I want the 2x10 to keep size and weight down.
What do you think of Jensen tornado Jet vs Eminence Lil Buddy for the speakers?
I will be putting two of the same kind of whatever speaker I choose

50 watt 2-10 harp amp

Hello Timblues- Thanks for writing. 50 watts is an awful lot, especially if you are worried about size and weight. I would also say that a small 2-10 cabinet won't allow a 50-watt amp to deliver the stage volume that it is capable of. If you really need that much power, I would suggest a larger cabinet. 4-10s at least.....

As far as Little Buddy vs. Tornado Jet...... A good amp (and a good player) will sound fine through just about any typical guitar-amp speaker, new or old. Remember, the gods used chintzy old Jensens, Utahs, and Oxfords, not JBLs or other high-dollar speakers. I've actually seen Little Buddy fight. He's a tough little dude and I think he can take Tornado Jet, even with that speedy left hook.
