I was just learning Telephone Blues from the newsletter today. I really like how you talk about "classic" movement up and down the diatonic in 3rd position slow blues. Is there equivalent "classic" GHSmith movement on the chromatic other than that that's included in the 5 lessons on the site?

Glad you liked the newsletter, that is a killer song. "Cool Blue" and "Swingin' with George" is classic George Smith. Him and Little Walter essentially created the movement and vocabulary we use today... so it's hard to find something NOT influenced by them.
