David,

I know you've written much about the 2 draw but mine was working fine for the first 5 days with my Key of A Hohner MS Blues Harp until yesterday when it just stopped. Nothing. I've tried dropping my jaw more but still nothing. Would you recommend exchanging it? If not, then what? I haven't been able to continue with the 1, 2, 3 hole excercises (which were going fairly well) and I'd like to get back to it!

Thank you,

Alan

Hello Alan. It could be that

Hello Alan. It could be that something is in the reed (food particle or hair). The bottom reed plate holds the draw reeds, and luckily they are mounted to the outside, giving you easy access to them after you take your reed plates off of the harmonica. Take a look to see if anything is in there.

2 draw

Thank you. I opened it up and found patches of a gummy substance on and around the

2 draw reed and on the 8 draw as well as 2 other places on the plate. Since I only had it

(the harp) for a week so I took it back and exchanged it.

Thanks again,

Alan
