270 still made?
Do you know if the 270 Deluxe is out of production? It's not listen in the Hohner C Shop. If so, is the CX-12 a good alternative?

Do you find any advantages to the CX-12? I have a lot of problems with my 270 DLX even after having it serviced, cleaning savers, checking gapping, etc. It looks like the CX-12 might be a little bit different design? Does it play smoother? Do you notice it being less finicky? I have a 64 Swan I've been using that works amazing but it's so big it gets uncomfortable to play after a long period of time.
They are completely different designs. I like both and have not experienced the same problems you have had.
I have had a 270 Deluxe on order for about five weeks. I think Hohner is out of stock.
I have not heard of it being discontinued. Yes, the CX12 is great... I own two... just remember to turn your mid and highs up a bit when playing live, it has a very dark tone.
