Today's tip comes from the fifth song of my concert set at Steve Baker's Harmonica Masters Workshop.

"Dimples" is in Fm and is played on the B-flat Harmonica in 2nd Position.

Your tip...

When a song has a strong hook, play it... it's the identifying element of the song. Playing something else could interfere with that identity... so the hook, when playable on the harmonica, is the way to go. If the entire hook (say 7 notes) is not playable on the harmonica, try to just play a small portion of it to see if it will work (say three notes... whatever makes sense).

By the way, this is in minor, so stick to that Blues Scale boys and girls!
