In this study we look at software recording. I'll be using Garage Band, but the principles taught in this lesson will help you with whichever computer program you use for multi-track recording. This study is for all skill level players and no harmonicas are needed for this study. Join me for Intermediate Student Ryan Walker's latest lesson where we spend a lot of time improvising in minor (Music Theory Study 3); play Solo Harmonica Study 3 Rumba examples; work on killer V-IV-I Licks (Improvising Study 4) and begin our slow blues instrumental study of "My Blues," which is one of the best study songs on the site in regards to the mixture of techniques used by blues harmonica players.

Singer, songwriter, and performer, Rob Roy Parnell has been mixing rockin' blues, boogie woogie, R&B and soul for over thirty years playing for audiences throughout the United States. Parnell was born into a music family. His father played guitar and sang in vaudeville shows as a kid. His mom was an opera singer. Bob Wills was a family friend and had a great influence on Parnell’s desire to play music.
