Today's tip is a simple one... warm up your chromatic harmonica before you play.

When a cold chromatic harmonica is put into a warm mouth, and the warm/moist air is breathed into cold reeds and wind savers, condensation develops and sticks the lower portion of the windsaver to the upper portion of the windsaver. To avoid this issue, put your chromatic harmonica next to your body for a bit before playing... under your armpit is a common place (that is if you're not sweating!) or in your hands. I've even heard of players on stage using a heating pad under a small pillow to place your chromatic on (visions of a royal pillow for the king's crown come to mind ;-).
