During the height of the pandemic, SPAH canceled their live face-to-face conference and met through online tools. I volunteered to develop an overview of how I was using software to help me master new songs for both diatonic and chromatic.  I have that material online now at:

While the focus of my examples was not blues, I think the material will be useful for anyone wanting to learn by learning from well-done performance recordings by accomplished harmonica players.   The 3rd video which covers the use of a mac or IOS app called Anytune pro will be particularly enlightening. It is like the Amazing Slowdowner on steroids, allowing you to more easily dissect a performance into bite-sized sections for mastery.

Enjoy,
