Hello Community,

This is the classic play of The House of the Rising Sun.

I already wanted to play it a long time ago. I had to pratice for a while in minor scale to get this.

This is fully improvised with some errors. I uploaded because normally I practice without amp.

Guitar Am, Harmonica Dm. British Laney double speakered valved amp without any mod.

Valved amped backing track, Bullet practicing mic. Mobile recording in my room,

Backing track is not Copyrighted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nngof8rMs68

Hello Community,

I asked one of my friend to create me in good quality the backing track of B.B. King's The Thrill is Gone...

I wanted to learn the basics of BB's on harmonica. After half a year practice this is it.

It is not too long but not simple at all...

And I utilized the knowledge of minor blues...

Performing “Juke” by Little Walter Jacobs and striving for classic amplified Chicago blues tone.

As you all know, Little Walter was probably the greatest harmonica player of all time.

He was among the first to record amplified harmonica and was a pioneer of jump and swing blues.

He lived a short life, but left a rich blues harmonica legacy.

“Juke”, originally recorded in 1952, became the number-one spot on Billboard's R&B chart and one of blues harmonica standards. continue reading...

Applying for a harmonica player in a Band

Hello,

Recently I started to feel like I should play in a blues and funky band.

So I created them a demo using their soundtrack to show my abilities. It is partly planned and partly improvised. Not perfect but I took care for my loudness and to be in harmony with the band. I avoided to show more than I truly know.

An intro part and more style of singer, guitar, trumpet and hammond org accompaniment with a simple nice close.

Freddie King: Sugar Sweet

We'll see their decision.... the Simple Blues Band from Hungary. :-)
