Rod Piazza

Rod Piazza is a hugely influential player in the blues harmonica world. Rod started his recording career in 1965, teamed up with George "Harmonica" Smith for the band Bacon Fat in 1968 and redefined the sound of blues harmonica (a sound now called West Coast Blues) in the 1980's. Countless of today's pro players cut their teeth on Rod's recordings and he's now here to share his knowledge with you. This interview was held in San Jose, California in May of 2010.
