I have always liked the Nifty-Fifty, when they first came out in the mid 90's, I bought my first one. I was working at the Music Tree in Morgan Hill CA. as a harmonica teacher, and started reccomending them to my students as a great sounding amp. I haven't tried out one recently until Ross Garren brought one over to the house to try out. I jumped on E-bay and bought one for $70.00. I just got it and was not dissapointed. This is a solid-state 15w amp that has just killer tone. It gets a huge sound at a very decent sound level. Most of my tube amps I have to get them cranked up pretty high before they come alive. Iv'e had a few small solid-state amps in the past, and this Dannelectro does not disappoint. BTW, these amps were discontinued in the late ninetys, so, a google search might be in order.
