Has anyone used MuseScore for transcribing/notating music?

It's a free, open source program you can download for any platform at musescore.org.
I just started fiddling with it, and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it.

There is a harmonica tablature plug-in that even puts in hole notation (although at this point it doesn't name all the holes in chords or octaves. There are "decorations" that can be used to notate dips and such.I it doesn't have all the fancy stuff professor Barrett uses, but It seems a lot more complete than the free version of Finale (I think David uses the expensive version).
