If you're the type of electric harmonica player who tend to have extra sweaty palms during your performance, then you probably have had the experience of loosing your mic grip.

Bicycle handlebar liners, such as Cinelli, have wicking materials infused with gel. When applied to your microphone, the liner will provide a comfortable--just cushy enough--non slip grip. It's awesome!

Also effective, especially for SM57 players, is to wrap the mic barrel with tennis racquet handle tape (for my taste, one turn is enough).

Step by step:
[1] Line up material and trim with scissors to fit
[2] Although bicycle liners and racquet tape have adhesive backing, I recommend applying "GOOP" glue (caution: very sticky and messy)
[3] After you are satisfied with the positioning of the liner/tap, wrap the whole thing with string (like a tourniquet) and let it dry for 24 hours
[4] Remove string and be prepared to be impressed. This technique will result in a factory-like application.

Your Harpsmith,
Kinya
