megatone amps/which is best

some of you may have a lot of experience with many of the megatone amps over the years

is there any agreement on which year or version may be the best for a harp amp?

i imagine someone may say the most recent version is the best, or a earlier version

i plan to buy a megatone, and i do not know enough to buy a new one or an older model

i would appreciate your help
