Masco Chronicles

Join Contributor Mark Overman and I as we present this series covering the usage of vintage P.A. heads for amplified blues harmonica playing. Our series starts with covering the spectrum of information regarding the use of PA heads for harp, including vintage, wattage and playing examples of different models. In our second submission we take a visit to the innovator of P.A. head customization, Skip Simmons. In that submission Mark and Skip take you on a tour of Skip's vast warehouse of vintage gear. The third submission I interview Skip Simmons. In the fourth submission Mark visits the collection of Jack Sugrue. In our last submission Mark and I sit down and talk about speaker and cabinet options. Thanks to everyone for their help in this series!

Lastly, I play and collect these vintage tube PA heads. I sell my amps from time to time, so keep an eye on my Reverb Shop.
