Let's work the C Major Scale to get used to this shift...

Low: 4+ 4 5+ 5 6+ 6 7 7+

High: 7+ 8 8+ 9 9+ 10 (10'+) 10+

Here's a nice Lee Oskar style lick that takes advantage of how the high end is constructed...

9+ 9 8, 8+ 8 7, 7+ 7 6, 6+
