Hey All --

So I'm wondering if you all are familiar with Jason Kincheloe who plays with Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds. I saw them a year ago at the High Sierra Music Festival and was just blown away by his playing. Truth be told, he was the one that turned on the light bulb to pick up the harmonica.

If you aren't familiar with him, you can YouTube him and find some good videos of him playing. To me, he is doing lots of different things with the harmonica -- at times, playing a riff that would likely otherwise be played by a lead guitarist; and, at other times, horn lines, call-and-response with his sister (the lead singer), and mroe.

If you are familiar with him, here's my questions. I am currently working on my Level 5 material with David via BluesHarmonica.com. In your opinion, what are the things I should be listening to and/or working on to be able to approach what Kincheloe is doing? As well, what kind(s) of gear might I need to get his sound?

Thank you, in advance, for any help/insight you can offer!

Erik
