Hi folks,

This involves a Suzuki SCX-64.

I'm having issues with my attack on my 1 draw.  The second octave D, not the low one.

I have not been able to get a decent attack out of it.  The note does more of a slow crescendo rather than a defined attack.  This occures tongue blocking right or left, and puckering.

Do you think this is a technique issue, or should I try to regap the reed?  I've done some gapping on diatonics before, but I'm fairly new to chromatic, and I don't want to monkey around with it if it's just a matter of more practice.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give,

-steve
