Harmonica Shah, born in Oakland, lived in TX for a time with his blues harp and guitar playing grandfather Sam Dawson who was a recording artist himself. Shah talks about the raw blues his grandfather sang and how it influenced him. He picked up the harp in 1976 and has put out a number of cd's since, his first in 2000.He plays some of the best ol blues harp going (IMHO).  He's up in the blow bends in a number of his songs, enough that it's getting me up there trying some blow bends myself. It's feel music, try not to tap your foot while listening to him or grabbing a harp and joining in.

And he's got some interesting songs too. "Have you ever seen a one eyeded woman cry?"...  "She searched the whole world over for her one eyed man?"

He has 60 songs on myspace, more than I need everyday to play along with.

Enjoy
