Figuring out tabs

Does anyone in here have some tricks how to figure out the tabs of very fast played songs?

I'm working on the tabs of Life's like a Mountain Railroad from Buddy Greene but he plays it that fast, I don't have an idea how to hear one clear single note or even a whole lick

It would be very helpful if you'd share some tricks or tools you'd recommend for finding the tabs
