Hello Harp Techs
As a standing rule, I instruct people not to keep their (unsheathed) harmonicas in their pockets. This is where lint, toothpicks and other unimaginable molly-gociles find their way into our harmonicas, and quite literally "gum up the works".

Well the other night, I made an exception to that rule. I was invited to jam for a couple of tunes (requiring A & C harmonicas) with a band at a local club. I jumped onto the bandstand with the two harmonicas in my pocket. Not only was it convenient, it also brought the temperature of the harmonicas to the ideal "playing temperature". Matching the reed to mouth temperatures, will minimize condensation build up on the reeds, and help mitigate the occasional clicking/clacking and stalling reeds.

Your Harpsmith,
Kinya
