Bret Michaels

I know this has nothing to do with blues - or harp, but I wanted to throw out a prayer for Bret Michaels, who suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and is now in critical condition. I've met Bret several times, and the band I was in opened for Poison several times in the late '80s. I remember one night when Bret and I - along with two bouncers - pulled C.C. DeVille and one of my bandmates apart in a fight over a girl. Bret punched me in the head by accident, and thought my black eye was the funniest thing in the world. Bret is a great guy, and gave us a chance more than a few times to get seen - even calling us out of the blue one time when their opener backed out on a gig.
