4th Annual Week-end Harmonica Retreat Dunnville, Ontario

Hey everyone.

We have another great line-up of teachers this year under the 150 year old willows at Shared Harvest Organic Farm. Food and lodging incuded. 12 hours of workshops and concert. We have Ronnie Shellist, Roly Platt and Bluegrass extraordinaire Mike Stevens this year. For those of you that haven't heard of Roly, he is one of Canada's top harmonica players. He's been playing for over 30 years, toured with Suzie Vinnick, Dutch Mason (Dutch was given the moniker "Prime Minister of the Blues" by B.B.King) and Roly is not recognized nearly enough for his harp prowess and musicianship. Ronnie Shellist is also an incredible player. He has extensive teaching experience and has loads of youtube videos to watch and learn from. He has toured with Adam Gussow doing teach ins with the traveling Hohner Roadshow. He is another one of North America's top players and definitely one of the top teachers putting in his time teaching and playing constantly. 

Mike Stevens has been playing since he was 16. He has performed more than 300 times on the world famous Grand Ole Opry stage and can count Roy Acuff -The king of Country Music as one of his biggest fans. In 1994 Mike was named a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky for his contributions to Bluegrass music. What more is there to say except his playing now goes way beyond bluegrass...
