Dear David

I would like to concentrate in high end playing in second position.
Do you have any lessons for high end second position , beside the ones for high end playing for first position ?
Any tips and hints?

Thank you

Paolo

Answer

Hello Paolo. Yes, "Blues For Paul DeLay" in Tongue Block Study 5 does. Songs that also include high-end playing are "Take It Easy Now" in Tongue Block Study 2.5 and "Walk with Me" Tongue Block Study 1. As you already know, both 1st Position and 3rd Position studies have TONS of high-end playing as well... work on those too, it all helps. The Improvising Studies also spend time on the high-end, from Studies 8 and up.
