Blues for Mr B

There's a really cool effect during the first chorus of the solo on Elevate Me Mama on Blues For Mr B (great album, by the way) - is it some sort of cupping effect you're using, or cupping effect plus tremolo? Can't figure it out but there's a definite tone change on the note.

And is there another album in the pipeline?
